Choptoberfest
(21st – 23rd October)
This October Skeeters, London’s homegrown axe throwing hall, is throwing open its doors for one and all to enjoy a festival of beer, alpine folk music and revelry.
Axes will be flying through the air as you learn to (safely) split hairs with Ragnar Ludbrok’s weapon of choice.
House favourite Schtump is back by popular demand, the most successful German export since the Royal family. This game will drive even a synchronised swimmer into a competitive frenzy. Compete against your fellow Choptoberfest fanatics to drive a nail as quickly as possible into a tree stump. Combining wits, sleight of hand and focused strength this tweak on the German cult of Nagelbalken is one to remember.
A straight arm stein holding contest will determine the Champion of Choptoberfest, with prizes available to be won across the spectrum of contests on this night of chutzpah and camaraderie.
This ticketed event provides access to more games, beer and bravado than the original Olympic games and all tickets include a round of axe throwing. We can’t wait to see you there, 5 days on the trot if you can handle it; 26th-30th October. Gesundheit!
